DESCRIPTION:Join us for a “three-hour-tour” of the island to learn about engineering and environmental aspects of what has become an international model for the beneficial use of dredged material. \nProject Summary\nPoplar Island is an environmental restoration located in Talbot County\, Maryland. LRSTC was created for recreational\, educational\, charitable\, and non-profit purposes. The center will be closed to the public for this event\, and will provide several volunteers to guide us. Practice in a controlled\, safe\, and welcoming environment. \nSafety:\nAll visitors are required to complete the center’s shooter registration prior to arrival.
